Freddie M.

Drummer

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, FREDDIE is a professional Drummer, Artist, Musician, Songwriter, Producer and community creator, who creates unique, independent, socially conscious media friendly music and art.

Freddie is a consummate artist who has been performing since she was a young girl. Colleen McCullough (nickname “Freddie”)  got her first taste of music and drums when she saw her father’s band rehearsing in their living room. After a few years of practice, she started performing in her own local swing and country combos at the age of 13.

After studying with local professionals Gregg Bissonette, Eric Singer, Ritchie Lapore, Tony Columbia and Bob Kasha, she attended the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, to be mentored by Joe Porcaro, Ralph Humphries, Ritchie Garcia and Steve Houghton.

In the past, Freddie has had recording deals with Bitzcore, Ransom Note and Last Chance Records, and has toured throughout the US, Europe, Canada and Mexico. She helped form the pioneering all-female Seattle punk band “Rubber” and is well established  in the Northwest music scene.

She is currently back in LA where she performs with various artists, gives private drum instruction and does session and recording work while also volunteering for Rock Camp for Girls Los Angeles, a non-profit dedicated to empowering girls through music education.
